New Manufacturing Base in Thailand for Silica & Alumina Magnesia Furnace Linings

04 Jun 2026

Pine-Pacific Corporation Ltd. has partnered with Capital Refractories Ltd. since 1998

Advancing Local Refractory Manufacturing for Faster, Fresher, and More Reliable Performance

Delivering world-class refractory solutions for induction furnaces in the foundry and steel industries. Since 2023, we have expanded into local production in Thailand under licensed technologies to provide fresher, faster, and more reliable refractory products while maintaining consistent quality and enhanced technical support for our customers.

Silica Linings: Dry Ramming Mass for Iron Foundry

1.   Silica lining Capital 80 à Acid lining based on natural quartz with a 0.8% B2O3 chemical binder.

2.   Silica lining Capital 3080 à Higher-purity silica lining and lower permanent expansion compared to conventional quartzite linings. Formulated with a 0.8% B2O3 chemical binder.

Alumina Magnesia Linings: Dry Ramming Mass for Steel Foundry

1.   CORAL CXL à Dense spinel-forming ramming mix based on fused alumina, developed for coreless induction furnaces used in steel and high-alloy non-ferrous melting operations.

2.   CORAL 85 à Specifically designed with an optimized particle size distribution and crystalline grain shape to enhance ramming characteristics, particularly for large furnaces. This provides optimum compaction of the working lining, resulting in a highly erosion-resistant fritted surface. Designed for use in coreless induction furnaces during the melting of steel and high-alloy non-ferrous metals.

3.   CORAL SMC à This mix has been designed to ensure that the thermally reactive components produce a hard fritted surface, with a high degree of powder backing even at elevated temperatures. Designed to provide a high resistance to particularly aggressive metals and slags such as those with manganese and stainless steels.

Key Advantages of Refractory Lining Production in Thailand

  • Local production provides fresher products with longer shelf life, eliminating delays from international shipping.
  • Customers receive materials at maximum performance and durability.
  • Quality control is certified and aligned with Capital Refractories Ltd. (UK) standards.
  • Strong technical support and product customization for local applications.
  • Continuously developing innovative induction furnace lining solutions.
